Scott E. Weiner, Ph.D., has more than 15 years experience in training, consulting, and sales. As a consultant, he delivers customized client appropriate solutions. Learning and Performance Mr. Weiner was the co-founder and Executive Director, Vice President, Learning & Performance, of a sales consulting and training company, with clients including AstraZeneca, Aventis, Boehringer Ingelheim, Centocor, GlaxoSmithKline, Novartis, Ortho-McNeil, Pfizer, Roche, Sanofi-Synthelabo, Schering-Plough, UCB Pharma, and Wyeth. He developed 8 flagship blended learning products to focus learning, shorten training time, and increase retention for consistent execution of marketing strategy. He designed and authored scripts for interactive CD-ROMs featuring animated cartoon characters to teach selling skills and product knowledge. He was the author and one of the chief designers of Clinical Xpress™ — proprietary interactive training product to increase consistency and effectiveness of executing selling messages on strategy for clinical articles and sales tools. Previously, he was a corporate trainer at the AT&T School of Business and Technology. Mr. Weiner continues his learning and has earned additional certificates for training and organization development (NYU), instructional designer/developer (Langevin Learning Services), advanced online learning designer (Capella University), creative training techniques (Bob Pike), and accelerated learning (Center for Accelerated Learning). He is a former member of Toastmasters.
